7-year-old attacked by stray dogs

Hyderabad: A seven-year-old boy was severely bitten by stray dogs in Kushaiguda area on Wednesday night.

Pavan, who was playing outside his home in Krishnareddy Nagar Colony was attacked by three stray dogs. He was shifted to the hospital and is recovering.
Ms G. Laxmi, a widow, lives with her two children, G. Pavan and G. Varshya (6). Both study in the nearby Govern-ment High School.

On Wednesday night after supper, Laxmi was cleaning vessels and Varshya was helping her. Pavan went out to play.

“He was playing on the road when suddenly three stray dogs attacked him. They bit him severely on his buttocks,” said Ms Laxmi, who rushed out hearing his screams.

Hearing her shouts, neighbours came and chased away the dogs. Pavan was shifted to a hospital from where he was discharged on Thursday morning.
