Hyderabad: After recent five-day Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagam, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday conducted a day-long Cabinet meeting, the first in the New Year.
Mr Chandrasekhar Rao said the focus of the Budget for 2016-17 would be the districts, and allocations for each sector would be made district-wise.
“We will prepare district development cards for each and every district as part of budget. These cards will serve as the Bhagavad Gita, Bible and Quran for government and officials to implement. These cards will be reviewed periodically to monitor how funds were spent and the resuts achieved,” Mr Rao said.
