Amitabh Bachchan's 'Wazir' receives thumbs up from Jaya and Shweta

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, who will soon be seen in Bejoy Nambiar's 'Wazir' stated that his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda Bachchan applauded the film post a special screening.

Big B sent a text message to the film's producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra saying that his family applauded the film and that such things were rare from their side. He said, “Sir ji, family was clapping after the film ended. Such things don't happen much from their side."

The film has Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of a paralysed chess grandmaster and also stars Farhan Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham. It is all set to release on 7th January 2016.
