Welcoming 2016 with her folks

Tammu missed spending her b’day with family, and is now in North Carolina with them for the New Year.
Tamannaah Bhatia, who had an average year in 2014 barring Veeram, was back into the game in 2015. Unlike the past couple of years, the actress concentrated only on south projects, and seems like the strategy worked wonders for her. Her first major outing in ‘15 was the magnum opus Baahubali, the multilingual flick which took the nation by storm. Followed was Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga which missed the target at the box office. She was later seen in a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in Inji Iduppazhagi, and finally in the Tollywood film Bengal Tiger, which was a safe venture.
Tamannaah says she is content with how things turned out with respect to her career in 2015. “I am happy that I had a satisfying run last year, and I’m eagerly looking forward to my projects over the next few months.” The actress, who was away from her parents during her birthday recently, was busy shooting for the bilingual flick Thozha (Oopiri in Telugu). But she absolutely wanted to spend quality time with her family now, and hence decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve abroad. Interestingly, many Kollywood actors this time are welcoming the year in foreign locales.
Tamannaah says, “I am spending my New Year in North Carolina with my family. It’s a very beautiful place and I hope I will have a whale of a time here with my dear ones.” The actress has the much-awaited Baahubali 2 and Dharmadurai currently in her kitty — both the films have commenced shooting.
