DC learns that SJ Suryah will play the lead in the horror film.

It is known that the shooting of Selvaraghavan’s Kaan, starring Simbu and Taapsee in lead roles, has been shelved owing to financial issues. The filmmaker however was content being a part of Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam, helmed by his betterhalf. Meanwhile, there was speculation that Dhanush would join hands with Selva for a project, that falls under the horror genre. However, it turned out to be a rumour. Having said that, a source now says that Selvaraghavan has planned to wield the megaphone for a horror flick.
We also learn that SJ Suryah will play the lead in the film and that Gautham Menon will produce it. The details related to other cast and crew of the project are to be decided. It was only some time ago that Gautham announced a collaboration with director Venkat Prabhu to produce movies.
