Remembering those we lost this year

The year also saw the deaths of popular comedians Konda-valasa, Kallu Chidambaram and Mada Venkateswara Rao.
The Movie Artistes Association (MAA) of Tollywood performed Amruta Pasupata Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam to stall a spate of deaths in the industry in 2015. The year saw the industry losing quite a few prominent personalities. First to depart was popular director-producer V.B. Rajendra Prasad (Jagapathi Babu’s father), followed by top comedian M.S. Narayana and popular actor Ahuti Prasad in January.

Movie Moghul and one of India’s finest producers, D. Ramanaidu’s demise shook the industry in February. The year also saw the deaths of popular comedians Konda-valasa, Kallu Chidambaram and Mada Venkateswara Rao.
Another sad incident was the untimely death of actress Aarti Agarwal, who died in the USA while undergoing treatment for obesity. Popular writer Ganesh Patro and actress Manorama too died this year.
The year ended in a sad note with popular actor Ranganath committing suicide.
