Farhan relives his Milkha days

Farhan Akhtar had a pang of nostalgia while shooting for Wazir. The actor had to shoot for a scene where he was required to run in formal shoes. While doing the scene, a very charged up Farhan seemed to have slipped into his Milkha Singh avatar. He ran so fast that the camera couldn’t keep pace with him. So the team had to request him to slow down.

A source from the sets said, “Farhan plays a cop in the film and for one of the scenes he was required to chase an ATV vehicle. Since he was wearing formal shoes, no one expected him to sprint like that. Then at one point he overtook the ATV vehicle — it wasn’t possible for the camera to catch up with his speed. The scene had to be reshot, this time with Farhan at a slower pace. Everyone around was reminded of his Milkha avatar, including Farhan himself.” When contacted, the actor’s spokesperson
