Cops arrest four for murder in Hyderabad

The four have been sent to judicial remand

Hyderabad: Chandrayangutta police arrested four men in connection with the fatal stabbing of a travel agent near Aurora College last month. Md. Qutubuddin, 59, was murdered on the main road around midnight on October 18.

A rowdy-sheeter from Jubilee Hills Mohammed Kaiser Hussain allegedly masterminded the murder from inside his jail cell through his four henchmen — Adappa Raju, Ayed Dastagiri Sha, Md. Imran Uddin and Md Wajid Ali — who have now been arrested. “He carried out the murder to take revenge as he believed Qutubuddin was having an illicit relationship with his wife,” said a police officer from Chandrayangutta PS.

The attackers followed Qutubuddin when he came to the Aurora College area to meet a realtor to discuss a land deal. They stopped his vehicle, stabbed him and hit him with a wood log, and fled the spot, police said. The four have been sent to judicial remand.
