Mumbai: Two months after Paul Walker's daughter Meadow filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche, the car company has revealed the actor was responsible for his own death.
Meadow, 16, brought the case against the company in September, claiming that her father's 2005 Carrera GT, had a flawed design that resulted in his father's death.
In her lawsuit, the 16-year-old and her lawyers alleged that there was no safety features in the Carrera GT which could have prevented the accident or at least would have allowed the 'Furious 7' actor to survive the crash.
In the documents, the car company "alleges that Mr Walker knowingly and voluntarily assumed all risk, perils and danger in respect to the use of the subject 2005 Carrera GT, that the perils, risk and dangers were open, obvious and known to him, and that he chose to conduct himself in a manner as to expose himself to such perils, dangers and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle.
"Mr Walker's voluntary assumption of the risk should bar the plaintiff's recovery or, in the alternative, should reduce the plaintiff's right to recovery from PCNA in an amount equivalent to Mr Walker's fault."
The car company also claimed the vehicle was "misused and improperly maintained."

The paperwork further stated taht "The subject 2005 Carrera GT was abused and altered after having been placed into the stream of commerce in a manner that was not reasonably forseeable to (Porsche)."
The lawsuit added that if the seatbelt was not flawed, Walker may have been able to exit the vehicle before it caught fire. According to their report the fire was allegedly caused by faulty "rubber fuel lines."
The "Fast and Furious" actor died in the collision in November of 2013 after his friend, Roger Rodas lost control of the vehicle resulting in the accident that killed both.
