Thakur substantiated his statement talking about the past termination of contracts with respect to Kochi and Pune franchises and said the decision must be left to the Working Group.
Now, the Governing Council has been reduced to five members.

Former India wicketkeeper MSK Prasad is all set to replace the 1983 World Cup winner. Gagan Khoda will replace Rajinder Singh Hans.
On the other hand, former India skipper Sourav Ganguly replaced Anil Kumble as the Chairman of BCCI Technical committee.
Earlier in the day, N Srinivasan was removed from his post as ICC Chairman and BCCI President Shashank Manohar is set to take over the tainted Tamil Nadu strongman’s post in a move that has put Srini’s stronghold over Indian and world cricket to an end.
