Mahira Khan has a fitting response to Shiv Sena's ban threats

The actress has retorted to the call for ban in a rather unique way

Mumbai: Shiv Sena had recently said that the party would not allow any Pakistani actor, cricketer or performer to step on Maharashtra's soil. Seeking a ban, the party targeted Pakistani actors like Fawad and Mahira Khan, who are trying to gain a foothold in the Hindi film industry. This didn't go down well with several Bollywood celebrities who voiced their opinion in support of Pakistani artists.

Looks like, Mahira has retorted to the call for ban in a rather unique way. She showed up at a Halloween party in Lahore with Asim Raza, the director of her upcoming musical, 'Ho Mann Jahan'. While the actress chose to be dressed as a Catwoman, her director didn't lose out on an opportunity to take a sweet dig. He came dressed up as a Shiv Sainik holding a playcard, "Mahira ko bahar nikalio". The two were happily seen posing together.
Mahira came to limelight with her performance in ‘Bol’ in 2011. This year, her TV series 'Humsafar' has been the talking point in her career. The actress will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Raees'.
