Jalandhar: Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Thursday tied the nuptial knot with long-time girlfriend Geeta Basra in a gurudwara here.
While the groom looked dapper in a off-white sherwani and red turban, the bride was looking resplendent in a traditional red and gold lehenga.

India bowler Rudra Pratap Singh, wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel, Punjab cricketers Gurkeerat Mann, Rahul Sharma were spotted during the mehandi ceremony. Few of them also clicked a photograph with Basra.

The wedding was attended by some close relatives and friends, including cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali.

From the entertainment industry, singers Gurdas Maan and Mika Singh were present at the sangeet ceremony.

The wedding, no less than a Test match, will be a five-day ceremony with the reception in New Delhi on November 1.

Apart from his Team India teammates like Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachhan, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are also likely to attend the reception in the capital.
Harbhajan, 35, and Geeta, who has acted in several Hindi and Punjabi films, have had a five years of courtship before they took the marital plunge.
