Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar has said she will support her dad at the upcoming Nadigar Sangam elections

The upcoming Nadigar Sangam elections on Sunday has divided the influential association into two main groups. Actor Sarath Kumar is leading one group; while Vishal is leading the other. The bone of contention between the two rivals is the demolition of the old Nadigar Sangam office in the city and signing a contract with SPI Cinemas to lease out most of this prime property. Both the actors along with their team members are lashing out at each other every day over this issue.
Actress Varalaxmi, elder daughter of Sarath Kumar who is reportedly dating Vishal has said that she will be supporting her dad in the forthcoming elections. The duo have ‘been friends’ for long and have even acted together in the movie Madha Gaja Raja, that never saw the light of day, ultimately.
“There’s no second thought about it. I would always back my father Sarath Kumar. I have also gone on record through my social media page about the same. However, Vishal and I continue to share a good friendship,” Varu told DC.
Quiz Vishal about Varu’s decision, and the actor responded, “Varalaxmi has nothing to do with the Nadigar Sangam issues. We are mature enough to not let this hullabaloo affect our friendship in any way. It is her personal choice and I respect her decision.”
