CM’s Vastu adviser inspects venue for Amaravati Sankhusthapana venue
Guntur: The Navaratri pujas and special homams started on Tuesday at Uddandara-yunipalem for new capital Amaravati foundation programme. These rituals would continue till October 22. All the constructions are being carried out according to Vastu norms and Vastu adviser to AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Mr. M. Raghavaiah is camped at the venue and giving suggestions to the officials. AP director general of police J.V. Ramudu, district collector Kantilal Dande, Guntur IG, N. Sanjay, Guntur urban and rural SPs, Saravasreshth Tripathi and higher officials of Krishna and Guntur district inspected the arrangements.
The place for Sankhusthapana is yet not decided. Hence, Mr Raghavaiah inspected the place near the main dais. He said that the place is very important for Sankhusthapana for the smooth going of construction works of new capital Amaravati. So the place would be decided by Wednesday evening. The cleansing of the place and other performance of penances would be held in the next couple of days at the foundation place. He suggested construction of entrances on the Krishna river side for VVIPs and VIPs on the Eesanyam direction (north east) facing the main dais.
The main dais where Prime Minister Narendra Modi, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and others will address the public would be in the middle of the ground facing towards eastern direction. The parking place for VIPs and VVIPs is on the left of the dais and three helipads for Mr Modi and others were marked behind the main dais. The main dais would be 15 meters of height for the convenience of the public to view the dignitaries and two other daises with 7 to 10 meters of height would come on the either sides of the main dais. One side dais would be for ministers and other VVIPs and second is reserved for cultural programmes.
The people from Guntur and other areas have to touch Tullur to reach Sankhusthapana venue which would be a very lengthy journey. Another bypass road from Uddandarayunipalem via Mandadam without touching Tullur was proposed on Tuesday and the construction would start on Wednesday.
