Shahid binges on coffee to get into character

As Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s characters in Shaandaar were shown as insomniacs, most of the shoots were night scenes.

Our source says, “Therefore to stay alert, 170 cups of coffee were called on the sets of Shaandaar daily! Not just for the actors but for their teams as well as they would be up with them each night, getting them ready for the shoot.

“By the end of the film the whole unit was addicted to their nightly coffee shots.”
