New handset with 64GB storage and 24MP camera may arrive in India this week
Gionee has been sending out media invitations which states ‘ Block your date for some GR8 News. A New phone launch and big entry into the e-commerce’. This hints at the arrival of its new flagship handset in India. Media reports speculate the launch of ‘Gionee Elife E8’ in India soon.

According to the above invitation, a 6-inch ‘Gionee Elife E8’ handset is expected to be launched in New Delhi on October 8, 2015. Its extensive 64GB in-built storage, 24MP rear camera and 3500mAh battery is what makes its launch so special in the coming days!
Gionee Elife E8 is powered by a 2GHz processor, offers 3GB RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo 3.1 operating system. The Gionee Elife E8 also sports a fingerprint scanner and 8MP front-facing camera. Gionee’s new flagship model is expected to be priced below Rs 50,000. A report by Phone Radar also stated that Gionee may also announce a new exclusive e-store to sell their devices and accessories.
