Shruti Haasan who is on a roll with around five films in her kitty, has achieved a rare feat of sorts — the singer-actress now enjoys three million followers on Twitter. The star daughter is apparently the first celebrity from the south to have gained such a large number of admirers on the social networking site.
She had joined Twitter in 2009, the year she made her silver screen debut with the B’town flick Luck. Shruti has had five releases this year in different languages including a special appearance and going by the current line-up, she will have at least one more release by the end of the year. Meanwhile, the trilingual film Puli which has her playing one of the female leads has opened to mixed reviews. She will next be seen in Ajith-starrer Vedalam which is all set to hit the screens in November.
