Hardware maker to come to Telangana

Mr Rao sought the company’s assistance in developing infrastructure facilities in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who is currently touring China, had a series of meetings on Saturday in Beijing with leading Chinese industrial companies and prospective investors.

They include Chongqing International Construction Corporation, Inspur Group of Companies, China Fortune Land Development Company, China Railway Corporation and SANY Group. Mr Rao briefed the representatives of these companies about the opportunities available in TS for investments.

The companies evinced interest and expressed their willingness to visit TS at the earliest and explore investment options.

CICO is an infrastructure company in construction, project consulting, architectural design, mechanical and electrical installation, materials production, EPC projects etc.

Mr Rao sought the company’s assistance in developing infrastructure facilities in Hyderabad.

Mr Rao met representatives of Inspur Group, which expressed interest to invest in electronics and hardware sectors. It provides IT products and services to 50 countries.

The CM had yet another meeting with representatives of China Fortune Land Development Company. Mr Rao sought CFLDC’s help in developing new industrial cities in Telangana.

Mr Rao, met representatives of China Railway Corporation, which is the national railway operator in China, and manages all commuter rail and freight transport.

Another meeting was with SANY group, a global company in the construction machinery industry.

Mr Rao also visited the Forbidden City in Beijing, which was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. It is located in the centre of Beijing and now houses the Palace Museum.

It served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government for almost 500 years.

Built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 180 acres. The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere.

The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world. CM enquired about the city and about facilities available for the visitors there.
