Top actresses said no to work with Imran Khan

Imran Khan has told his close friends he was short-changed by his leading ladies when he was down and out. According to the forever-forthright actor, after his three back-to-back flops in 2012-13, no leading actress was willing to work with him in Katti Batti.

While director Nikhil Advani wouldn’t comment on the matter, a source close to the project spilled the beans. “It is true. Nikhil approached several top actresses including Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. They all said no to Imran, and yes to the film. All of them wanted Nikhil to replace Imran which he refused to do.” Ultimately, it was Kangana Ranaut who, apparently, loved her role and had no problems with Imran as a co-star.
