Actress Kangana Ranaut has been speaking her mind a lot lately. Her recent confession about not being on good terms with Deepika Padukone has not gone unnoticed. She is also known to constantly talk about her numero uno status in the industry, which has not found favour among a lot of industry bigwigs. Word has it that her recent success and her new-found friendship with Hrithik Roshan, one of the biggest stars in the industry, have made her more outspoken than she ever was.
“I can’t recall a single incident or an interaction where Kangana has not taken on people or bragged about her stardom. Neither Priyanka Chopra nor Deepika Padukone have ever sounded so arrogant. Yes, Kangana’s films have done well but there are serious doubts about her ability to handle success,” says a source who was once close to the Tanu Weds Manu actress.
A former co-star says, “Kangana was never best friends with her co-actors and filmmakers but she has always been cordial. Barring the upcoming Rangoon, top actors have refrained from working with her. They might applaud her work but working in a film with her high-handed attitude isn’t cake walk.”
