Australian girl dragged out of cab, run over by Uber driver for talking on phone

Queensland: A 24-year-old from Queensland, Australia was allegedly dragged out of an Uber cab and run over by the driver because she was talking on her cell phone.

Sascha Pangallo, the victim, claimed that she was violently attacked by the Uber driver, according to reports in The Daily Mail.

According to Pangallo, she availed the cab service on the regular and this was the first time she was put in a situation like this.

Pangallo claimed that the driver refused to put her destination location on GPS and insisted that she give him directions to her destination, which she didn’t mind. It was when she got an important phone call and couldn’t direct him further that the driver lost his cool and allegedly started snapping and screaming at her aggressively.

The cabbie further went on drag Pangallo out of the car and ran her leg over with a side tyre all because she didn’t comply with his demands and continued to speak on the phone.

Pangallo was left bruised on her arm and legs. She also suffered a severe skin abrasion from where the tyre ran over her. She is currently admitted in a hospital for a suspected blood colt and broken leg.
