Hat-trick of wins for Ajay in JK racing

The 26-year-old Ajay maintained composure and used his strategy and took the chequered flag easily in the end
Coimbatore: A calm Ajay Kini registered a hat-trick of wins in as many races in the Formula LGB 4 category as he wound up an impressive racing weekend at the Round Two of the JK Tyre national racing championship at the Kari Motor Speedway here on Sunday.
The day witnessed two races of the JK Racing India series and a race each in the Formula LGB 4 and the Volkswagen Vento cup.
It was a closely fought battle between the top eight for podium. The 26-year-old Ajay maintained composure and used his strategy and took the chequered flag easily in the end.
In the FB 02 race, Krishnaraaj Mahadik started on pole due to the reversed grid format and maintained his lead well throughout to reign supreme. Mahadik was overtaken by Chennai driver Vishnu Prasad after the first lap but on lap three. Mahadik made a good move to outsmart Vishnu thereon maintained his lead. Vishnu was given tough competition by Kush Maini.

Race 3: 1. Ananth Shanmugam, 2. Vishnu Prasad, 3. Karthik Tharani.
Formula LGB 4 Race 3: 1. Ajay Kini, 2. Raghul Rangaswamy, 3. Diljith TS.
Volkswagen Vento Cup Race 2: 1. Karminder Singh, 2. Ishaan Dodhiwala, 3. Anindith Reddy Konda.
