Post Jil, Kabir Singh signs 10 films

Kabir Singh is now working in projects starring Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna and Ajith

After debuting as a villain in Jil, Kabir Singh has been flooded with offers. He is playing the villain opposite Balakrishna in his upcoming film Dictator, the Bellamkonda Srinivas and Bheemani film, the Pawan Kalyan starrer Sardar Gabbar Singh and in a Tamil film starring Ajith.

“The credit goes to director Radhakrishna, who introduced me with Jil and the way he showcased my character in the film,” says Kabir.

The stylish villain hails from Faridabad and worked as a model for some time. “I am eagerly waiting for Pawan Kalyan sir’s film,” he says.

He is also happy to be part of Ajith’s Tamil film Thala 56. “He is amazing. I had heard so much about Ajith sir that he was a very big star, but he is very down to earth and a humble person. It’s my great honour to work with him. He is my teacher and father figure. He has taught me so many things,” says Kabir.

“In terms of fan following or stardom, he is bigger than Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan,” he says.

Talking about PK, he says, “I am waiting to meet Pawan sir. I have heard so many good things about Pawan Kalyan sir and I am eager to meet him,” he says.

“I am lucky that I am getting very big projects and am also acting with big and good actors,” he says.

“My parents are still in Faridabad. They saw my Telugu film and called me. I could feel the happiness in their voice when they spoke about the Telugu film,” he says.

When asked what made him the most wanted villain down South, Kabir says, “I look stylish and different from the regular villains. I think that’s the reason,” he says.

“I am still getting offers but I have kept them pending because of date issues,” he says, adding, “I am in love with Hyderabad right now. After Jil, I spent most of the last six months here,” Kabir says.
