Alcatel has launched a new Pop Star smartphone, which sports a denim-finished back cover. Other than that, it will also be available with traditional plastic back covers and leather ones.

The Alcatel Pop Star sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720p. Running on Android Lollipop operating system, it will be powered by a quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It will features an 8MP primary camera.
Further, Alcatel is announcing another smartphone, Pop Up. This one stands slightly higher than Pop Star in terms of its specifications. Pop Up is powered by an octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Much like Pop Star, this smartphone’s internal memory is also expandable upto 32GB using a microSD card. Pop Up sports a 13MP primary camera and is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery.
