Kolkata: Mumbai Police on Wednesday interrogated Sheena's father Siddhartha Das for over two hours, according to media reports.
A team of three officials quizzed him over his claim that he was the biological father of both Sheena and Mikhail and his relation with Idnrani.
The Mumbai cops haven’t revealed any information from the interrogation, but according to sources Das was questioned on the time he spent with Indrani in Assam and whether she had contacted him recently.
When enquired about Sheena’s and Mikhail’s birth certificates, he informed the police the certificates were in his parental home in Karimganj.
"Police recorded a written statement which I signed. I cannot disclose the content and I will cooperate with the police," Das was quoted as saying.
The visitng team of cops also questioned Das’ landlord.
