K. Chandrasekhar Rao will be visiting China for attracting investments

Hyderabad: Japanese companies are showing a huge interest in the state’s IT sector. Recently, 35 Japanese companies have been given permissions through TSiPass while another 17 will get government clearance soon.
Speaking at the inauguration of Hitachi Solutions’ global development center (GDC) at Gachibowli, IT minister K.T. Rama Rao said that in the last two and a half months alone, investments worth Rs 5000 crore had come to TS districts. The minister is planning a visit to Japan soon to attract more investments in the sector.
Meanwhile Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will be visiting China for attracting investments. The Indian subsidiary of Japan-based IT service provider Hitachi Solutions India plans to hire 400 people for its facilities in Hyderabad and Chennai, said the company’s CEO Ananth Subramanian.
He said, “We will be hiring 200 people each for Hyderabad and Chennai centres in the next 18 months, taking our total headcount in India to 700 from the current 300. We will also be opening two GDCs, one each the two states. It also signed a MoU with Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge to train engineering graduates who will be absorbed in the company.
