Amazon is well-known for its online shopping business. But when the e-shopping company failed with the first smartphone launch, the Amazon Fire Phone, the company started sacking the team behind it. However, a new report mentions that Amazon seems to want a comeback and is secretly working on three new gadgets for a launch ahead.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon is planning a tablet, a mini computer and an e-book reader for the mass market. These new gadgets are not something that will be similar to the conventional ones already out there. They are going to make a difference, and a huge one.
Firstly, Amazon is planning an e-book reader, which is tipped to give a battery life of a whopping two years on a single charge. The present e-book readers can fill up their battery to juice up the gadget from a few weeks to a maximum of around two months. Secondly, a mini computer is also on the plate which will accept voice commands for tasks such as ordering goods from Amazon.com and a few others. Lastly, a tablet is also said to be in the works with a completely glassless 3D display. This one is not as gimmicky as the Fire Phone.
As for now, they seem to be just in the air and we are not sure of any dates, pricings or specifications of the three gadgets.
