Brother-in-law Shantanu confirmed that Sheena was the daughter of Indrani and Siddhartha

Mumbai: Indrani Mukerjea's former brother-in-law Shantanu Das has claimed that Sheena was the daughter of his brother Siddhart Das.
"Sheena is my brother Siddhartha Das' daughter with Indrani Mukherjea. Yes, I met Sheena and Indrani around 1989 when Sheena was 6 months old. I have not met Mikhail,” Shantanu told a news channel.
"My family lost touch with my brother Siddhartha in the last 8-10 years. My mother is unwell and has not taken well to the news," Shantanu added.
Meanwhile, Indrani’s mother-in-law Maya Rani Das raised doubts about Siddhartha being Mikhail’s father and claimed the family only recognised Sheena as their grandchild.
According to Maya Rani, Sidhartha was 21 years old and Indrani 19 when they married. When Indrani was in Shillong, she married Sidhartha, who later decided to split after suspecting Indrani of having an affair. After the separation, Indrani left Shillong with Sheena.
After ending her marriage with Siddhartha, Indrani married Sanjeev Khanna, a businessman from Kolkata. Indrani later married Peter Mukerjea, a former head of Star TV and INX Media.
Indrani, Sanjeev and her driver, Rai, are accused of kidnapping and killing Sheena Bora.
