Mumbai police writes to Facebook for Sheena’s info

Sheena might have spoken a lot about her personal life with her close friends

Mumbai: The Mumbai police which is investigating the alleged murder case of Sheena Bora is in the process of writing to Facebook to find out if they can get any information on Sheena’s profile. It is learnt that Sheena’s FB profile has been either deactivated or deleted.

An official from the Mumbai police who confirmed the development also added that chances are slim as in the past they had tried to get such information but did not get a positive response.

The official said that if they can get access to Sheena’s profile they may stumble upon a lot of information which could help them in their probe. “People share a lot of information through personal messages on FB. Sheena might have spoken a lot about her personal life with her close friends.

“Till now we have not got to hear anything from her close friends who could provide a lot of insight on her life before her disappearance,” said the police source.
Information like her personal chats and messages with her fiance Rahul Mukerjea, brother Mikhail, mother Indrani, close female friends could provide the police with important clues, leads or even evidence, the official said.

Also, the source said the police could track her close friends and get to know more about her life or the issues she was facing.
