Anil Kapoor will keep Cam-Mitch story intact for desi Modern Family

The buzz about Anil Kapoor making a desi version of the popular sitcom Modern Family has been doing the rounds for a while now. But not too many details have been forthcoming, apart from the fact that his daughter Rhea Kapoor will be handling the production aspect.

However, when Anil was recently at the India Film Festival of Melbourne with daughter Sonam, he has shared that he will be keeping the concept of the show intact — in its entirety. “I will be keeping the part about Cam and Mitch, the gay couple, intact even for Indian audiences. I don’t mind playing one of them either!” he said, when quizzed at the fest about his plans for the remake.

Anil also added that making TV shows is more of a passion for him, and not just driven by business sense. We hear you Anil!
