Shoes don't always fit us perfectly. An Italian footwear company has come up with a perfect solution for this problem with its new line of Furoshiki shoes.
Furoshiki is a aditional Japanese wrapping cloth used for transporting goods and were first used in the Edo period to carry clothing while at the public baths. Furoshiki shoes, created by Japanese designer Masaya Hashimoto, have no laces and instead wrap around the foot–hence the name–fastening with velcro.
The wrap around can be worn in three simple steps, as demonstrated in this pictures:

The shoes are unique and have no shoe laces but a velcro patch at the heel to keep your feet wrapped up tight regardless of the shoe size. Currently, the Furoshiki Shoes are available in Japan from Vibram’s Japanese online shopping site for 17,064 yen (US$140).
