Madonna Sebastian plays a homely girl in her Kollywood town debut

Mollywood actress Madonna Sebastian, who made her foray into filmdom with the recent blockbuster Premam, completed her first film in Tamil some time back. The film, billed as a romantic tale, has Vijay Sethupathi in the protagonist’s role and Nalan Kumarasamy wielding the megaphone. The details regarding the characters played by the lead artistes in the movie had been kept under wraps by the filmmakers.
However, we now hear that Madonna will be seen essaying a traditional girl in the movie, something contrary to what she portrayed in the M’town flick Premam. The source says, “The actress shot for around 50 days for the film in the city and her character is a deglam one. This film has her in a character which required her to come out of her comfort zone and perform. The filmmakers had plans to title the film Eskimo Kadhal, however they are yet to finalise it.”
