It was a quiet and simple birthday for Hansika Motwani who turned 24 on August 9. It is known that she adopts underprivileged kids on her birthday, and takes care of their living expenses and education. A few months ago, she adopted three children when she came to know of their plight.
The bubbly actress, who was in Dubai for an award event, flew back to Mumbai to celebrate her birthday with friends. A party was organised on the eve of her birthday where her close pals were seen having a whale of a time. Though wishes started pouring from various quarters on her Twitter account, one in particular garnered extra attention. It was none other than Silambarasan’s birthday wishes to which her reply received significant retweets.
Speaking to DC, she said, “I took part at the special pooja at home in the morning which was arranged by my mother. Later, I visited my adopted kids and spent time with them.”
