Ajay Devgn clears the air about his equation with Priyanka Chopra and goes on to say that she’s the best choice for Gangaajal 2

Ajay Devgn and Priyanka Chopra, who had a fallout in early 2000, have come a long way. The two had a spat over creative differences and chose to part ways. But from the looks of it, both Ajay and Priyanka have buried the hatchet.
While Ajay played a major role in Prakash Jha’s political drama Gangaajal, Priyanka will play one in the film’s sequel, Gangaajal 2, where she will be seen as a cop. Says Ajay, “I am very glad that Priyanka is playing the lead in the film. Her growth as an actor is very inspiring for all other actresses in the industry. Prakashji’s decision to zero in on PC was absolutely correct.”
The fact that the two weren’t exactly on the best of terms didn’t go unnoticed by those in the industry. “We have a lot more to focus on in our respective careers right now than dwell on the past. She is doing well for herself and that is what matters.” When asked if he’d do a cameo in Gangaajal 2, Ajay refrained from commenting.
