Thalasserry seems to be a favourite location as well as a lucky charm for most film makers in Mollywood. Most of the recent hit films have been shot there which could be the reason director Vinay Govind too has set his upcoming film Kohinoor in this food paradise city.
This is the first production venture of actor Asif Ali under the banner of ‘Adam’s World of Imagination’ along with his friends Sajin Jaffar and Brijesh Muhammed.
The heist film has an ensemble cast of Asif Ali, Indrajith, Vinay Forrt, Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod, Sudheer Karamana. Almost all the lead characters play small crooks to big time smugglers in the film.
The heroine of the film is debutant Aparna Vinod and the film is set in the 1988 time period. The title of the film has evoked a curiosity factor and it will remain to be seen how the world famous Kohinoor diamond has a relation to the film’s title.
