Michael B Jordan won’t tolerate racial ‘ignorance’

Michael B. Jordan, star of the new Fantastic Four reboot, has been getting asked this question a lot lately, with regard to his character’s role in the movie: How can a Caucasian woman and African-American man be brother and sister?

According to DailMail.co.uk, the actor and co-star Kate Mara — who play Sue and Johnny Storm in the movie — were asked by a radio host, “From what I’ve seen, you’re brother and sister. Am I missing something?” When the two simply said, “no”, the host persisted saying, “But you’re white (Kate) and you’re black (Michael). How does that happen?” Michael finally responded, “They could be raised as brother and sister. There’s a whole bunch of family dynamics that could be without the obvious adoption.”

Michael had answered a similar question on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in April, telling Jimmy, “It doesn’t mean biological. It’s the world that we live in… It’s one of the things I don’t like drawing attention to, the ignorance.”
