Etela Rajender showers praise on bureaucrats

Etela was participating in the closing ceremony of the mass holy bathing event held in the town
Karimnagar: Finance minister Etela Rajender said that the TRS-led government acts keeping in mind opinions, suggestions and sentiments of the public. He lauded authorities of various departments for their role in organising Godavari Maha Pushkaralu on a grand note. He said this while addressing reporters in Dharmapuri temple town. He was participating in the closing ceremony of the mass holy bathing event held in the town on Saturday.
Mr Rajender stated that the state government was fortunate for getting the opportunity to organise the maiden Godavari Pushkaralu. “Leaders of Andhra Pradesh appreciated arrangements after taking holy dip on the shores of Godavari in Telangana. People of the state reposed faith in the TRS-led government with making the river fete a success,” he claimed.
The minister recalled that the TRS party celebrated the river fete with its funds 12 years back but culture, festivals, language and Pushkaralu were neglected by the successive governments. This time, a sum of Rs 600 crore was earmarked for the conduct of the mass holy bathing event on the lines of Kumbh Mela held in Allahabad of Uttar Pradesh.
The senior leader of the pink party asserted that authorities of various departments and legislators discharged duties 24 hours a day during the 12-day long river festival, in order to prevent occurrence of untoward incidents. He showered praises on community and voluntary organisations .
