Visakhapatnam: A spell of rain was registered in Visakhapatnam on Monday bringin relief to Vizagites from the scorching temperatures. With an increase in the humidity levels, Vizagites have been experiencing a great discomfort.
After June 15, Vizag has only received a few drizzles because of the weakening of the Southwest monsoon. The meteorological department predicted a spell of thundershowers over some areas of the city on Tuesday also.
“The existing conditions are not favourable for heavy rains. The rough weather conditions may continue for some more days,” said a Metrologic department official.
