National Integration Peace Committee sows seeds on Iftar party

Nilgiris is considered to be a haven of peace and the coming together of people from various religions
Ooty: The Nilgiris chapter of the National Integration Peace Committee (NIPC-Nilgiris) hosted a Iftar party here to sow the seeds of friendship and communal harmony.
The Iftar party was organised in co-ordination with the Sunntah Jamath Zakaria Mosque at St. Mary’s Hill and attended by Gopalsamy Adigalar of Chikkamman Siddar Peetam, Fr. Sonivadayaparambi of St. Joseph church and Sathiyabhama, Chairperson of Ooty municipality, B.K. Krishnan, president of NIPC-Nilgiris said.
He said these events help strengthen bonds of friendship among people leading to communal harmony and help each other towards peaceful co-existence.
Nilgiris is considered to be a haven of peace and the coming together of people from various religions to host Iftar party would further fortify the bonds of friendship and brotherhood, K.C. Kumarasamy, joint secretary of NIPC-Nilgiris said.
