ICAI had instituted the CMA awards to be given to its members

Karur: The state-owned Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL)’s deputy managing director, A. Velliangiri, received the CMA awards - certificate of merit 2014 under the category of “Private – Manufacturing (Male)”.
A TNPL release said at Karur on Monday that the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) had instituted the CMA awards to be given to its members occupying the head of finance function in corporates.
Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (I/c), Prime Minister’s office, MoS for DoNER, department of personnel and training and department of space and atomic energy, presented the CMA awards – 2014 – certificate of merit 2014, to Mr Velliangiri, at a function at New Delhi recently.
