Mohit Sehgal, who shot to fame as Samrat from Miley Jab Hum Tum, is returning to the small screen with Zee’s new show Sarojini Ek Nayi Pahel. His new image will be a far cry from the cheerful college boy he has played in the past.
“I’m working hard towards being versatile. I can only hope that the audience appreciates my effort. Getting the UP accent right is taking some time, but I continue to rehearse my lines even after the shoot is wrapped up every single day.”
Incidentally, the actor’s girlfriend Sanaya Irani too has made her comeback at the same time. She is a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and her first act received mixed response. Mohit is supportive of Sanaya and said, “I’ve seen her first performance. She isn’t a trained dancer but is still doing an amazing job on the show. I’m sure she will keep improving and will rock the Jhalak stage.”
