Rana Daggubati wanted to be a techie!

The Godfather of Bollywood Salman Khan dropped a little secret about Baahubali star Rana Daggubati that was quite the surprise.

Did you know that Rana wanted to be a software engineer before being advised to take on acting as a profession? At a recent event, Salman was asked if he watched the film and his views on the same. To that the star expressed his desire to watch it as the film has broken all box office records with its phenomenal world-wide success.

At the event, the actor was quoted as saying, “That film is supposed to be something else only! I’ve seen the promos and have known Rana for the longest time and he has done a superb job.”

Salman, who has mentored several Bollywood stars including Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and many more, might have also played a small part in encouraging Tollywood star Rana to take on the profession.

Salman, who shares a close bond with the Daggubati family, revealed he constantly pushed the young star into taking up acting over his initial career choice. He said, “I am really happy that Baahubali has done well. And today Rana will realise why I used to tell him to act. He wanted to be a software engineer.”
