The shooting of Sundar C’s horror flick Aranmanai 2, a sequel to Aranmanai, kicked off in the city. According to a source, the scenes involving Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika, Poonam Bajwa, and others were shot recently and the team has completed a schedule.
Insiders say that Hansika, who appeared as a village belle in the first installment, will have a more urban image in the sequel and that she is likely to be part of more spooky scenes. Reportedly, the crew has erected a set that costs 1 crore for the movie in the city. Hip Hop Aadhi who teamed up with Sundar C in the latter’s last outing, Aambala, has been roped in to compose music for this film. Aranmanai 2 is being produced by Khushbu Sundar’s company ‘Avni Cinemax’.
