Rati Agnihotri had broken free of a traumatic marriage after claiming to have suffered years of physical abuse. But we now hear that she is reconsidering patching up with her husband. According to those in the know, Rati is under “tremendous pressure” to call off her plans of a separation. Close family and friends have been making an effort to bring about a reconciliation between the estranged couple. “It is for her son Tanuj’s sake,” our source told us.
In fact, we hear that it is Tanuj who has been making the most strenuous efforts to bring about a rapprochement between his parents.“I just made mum and dad realise that beneath all the anger and negativity there were 30 years of love and companionship that cannot be washed away,” said Tanuj, admitting that he was trying to bring his parents back together.
As for the violence Rati has faced, Tanuj said, “That’s something she is going to have to decide how to deal with, in the way that suits her the best.” Rati Agnihotri was reluctant to comment on the new developments.
