Mumbai: Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly received a barrage of wishes as the Prince of Kolkata turned a year older on Wednesday. Social media went buzzing with fans and colleagues pouring in wishes for Dada.

Right from spin legends Anil Kumble, Saqlain Mushtaq to India’s out of favour all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and cricket experts Ayaz Memon, Harsha Bhogle, wishes have been on the constant rise as #HappyBirthdayDada has been trending on almost all social media platforms.

Ganguly has been revered by everyone in the sporting fraternity. Recently, he became a member of the BCCI’s newly constituted Cricket Advisory Committee along with Indian icons Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman.
