Why is Chandrababu Naidu free, asks Jagan Mohan Reddy

He said that Chandrababu should strive hard for bringing special status to AP
Kakinada: YSR Congress chief Y. S.Jagan Mohan Reddy wondered why no act-ion was being taken against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and arrest him till now, despite clear evidence in the note-for-vote scam. Jagan consoled the family members of dec-eased fisherman K. Venkateswara Rao at Pa-ropet in Kakinada and other fishermen families in Pagadalapet and Uppalanka villages on Friday.
Later, he told media that Chandrababu chanted moral standards on the issue of former Governor N.D. Tiwari’s case, but did not ap-ply the same moral standards to himself. He said that Chandrababu took up Section 8 which is only a part of AP Re-organisation Act to divert people’s attention from his misdeeds in note-for-vote scam.
Chandrababu was cheating people and he tried to buy five MLAs in Telangana state at Rs 20 crores, earned in AP through illegal means. He felt that at present Section 8 is not an important issue compared to the special status issue.
He said that Chandrababu should strive hard for bringing special status to AP. Jagan said that he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers for strict implementation of AP Re-organisation Act immediately. Jagan felt that Chandrababu should take responsibility for the missing fishermen in the sea as the state did not make proper alerts on the cyclonic storm and other rough weather conditions.
He alleged that the government had not distributed essential commodities to the fishermen during conservation period. He said that he would fight for welfare of fishermen with the government.
