Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party legislator A. Revanth Reddy will continue his fight on public issues, said his wife Geetha Reddy, amid celebrations over his being granted bail by the Hyderabad HC on Tuesday.
“He had spent only few hours with us during our daughter’s engagement. The prayers of the people who admire him helped him to secure bail early,” Ms Geetha Reddy said. “This has been the longest period that my husband and I have stayed separate. He never stayed away from the family this long,” she said. “I am happy he is back now.”
She said Mr Reddy was very sensitive and simple and not flamboyant as projected. The family distributed sweets and his residence was abuzz with activity. “Several persons who admired him gave us moral support. I thank our relatives, TDP leaders, people of the Kodangal constituency people for the support,” she said.
