‘Bajirao Mastani’ release not postponed, trailer to be out soon

Mumbai: The release date of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ created ripples in the industry recently with its date clashing with Shah Rukh, Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale’.

However the Eros team has come out to clarify the commotion. “We are gearing up for an 18th December release and theatres are being blocked accordingly. The trailer will be coming out soon,” said the spokesperson.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao’ stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in lead. While many conclusions are drawn for their respective looks, designer Anju Modi says that their style statement in the film will soon become a national trend.

According to a source close to Sanjay Bhansali, “The film is being shot on a war footing, pun intended. There are many never-before war scenes, dances and dramatic confrontations. But Sanjay is very much on schedule. In fact, he didn’t even know about Shah Rukh’s plans or that there was talk of the film being postponed.”
