Kottayam: A number of students and cultural activists on Tuesday took out a march to the Gandhi Square at Thirunakkara ground expressing solidarity with the struggle of the students of Pune film institute.

Film director Joshy Mathew and Prof A.K. Ramakrishnan among others spoke on the occasion.

The students of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) have been agitating over the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as the new chairman.
