As Arshad Warsi awaits the release of his next, Guddu Rangeela, directed by Subhash Kapoor, the duo have already started on their next film together. “I enjoy working with Subhash, and I’m fortunate enough to work with him again. Soon, we go straight into Jolly LLB 2. I speak Haryanvi in Guddu Rangeela and I didn’t need a teacher, as Subhash speaks the language very well. He was my guide and I just had to repeat and mimic what he did,” he says.
About his other much-awaited project, the next in the Munnabhai series, he says, “The script is in place. We are just waiting for Sanju to be released and then we begin shooting the next part.” A lot has been said about Welcome To Karachi that didn’t perform as well as expected at the box-office. “I wish people had liked it, but it’s sad it didn’t click with the audience. But that’s okay,” Arshad says.
